2 And after[a] tying him up, they led him[b] away and handed him[c] over to Pilate the governor.

3 Then when[d] Judas, the one who had betrayed him, saw that he had been condemned, he regretted what he had done[e] and[f] returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and elders, 4 saying, “I have sinned by[g] betraying innocent blood!” But they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!”[h]
